A Weekend of Food

You just gotta love Disney – Step to the right, please!  Please step to the right!  The look on all the kids faces is just priceless though and also on many of the adults.  Sometimes you look at the dads and see them thinking ca-ching ch-ching.  Disney is tremendously expensive.  Everybody should be able to enjoy the experience at least once.

The Food Blog Forum Orlando was a huge success.  I took some photos but spent most of the time socializing and eating.  I haven’t eaten that  many desserts in a years time.  Fabulous dessert they were.  I think I ate three cake pops the first night.

This blog today will be very short because after leaving Whole Foods, where we had brunch on Sunday morning, we had to pick up the dog from the kennel and then our three year old granddaughter- she is staying with us for the next few days.  “Nana, I’m thirsty” “Nana, I am hungry” Nana, are the popsicles frozed yet” (we made popsicles from organic 100% juice) “Nana, are we going to the park now”.   Well,  we are off really to the park now.

Stop by again on Thursday, I have a special friend of mine doing a guest post.  I have no idea as yet what she has made, it’s a secret.  Her guest post couldn’t have come at a more opportune time.

  19. Hello Cookingsgood,
I just stumbled across this and, Sydneysiders are renowned ‘foodies’, and the burgeoning farmer and organic food market scene in various locales is testament to the city’s strong appreciation for freshly grown and harvested food products. For many Sydneysiders, a trip to a local fresh food, famers’ or organic food market is a weekend ritual, and the source of weekend spreads.
    Kindest Regards

  20. I knew you would come back with some great photos from the Food Blog forum. These photos sure do show some creative presentations with delicious food. Also, I can see why you fell for the cake pops, they look amazing. For some reason they look larger than most of the ones I have seen.
Now it is time for you to unpack and rest from all that running around in Orlando! Enjoy the day.

  21. Your weekend sounds fantastic! I can just imagine the delicious treats and gorgeous dishes by your fantastic photography – need some good breakfast right now… :D
