Ah it’s Monday and I am still full. After all the yummy dishes in front of me and the delicious desserts everywhere I looked I think my belly needs a rest from trying to digest all that lovely food. No matter how much we might tell ourselves we can restrain from over eating I don’t seem to be able to that. Now there probably are a lot who can but I am not one of them. I just eat. I love to eat and I am not ashamed to say so. However there is the day of reckoning and I always know that as well. Today is that day and I am going to do just exactly that, give my give body a rest … carrot juice cocktail. The juice will be for breakfast as it is loaded with vitamins, minerals and lots of fiber. Not to mention the antioxidant value.
This isn’t your usual cocktail that includes any type of alcohol, not today anyway. In fact I did find a definition for the word cocktail saying that it is an appetizer made by combining pieces of food. Well this cocktail has carrots, celery, apples, ginger and lemons. I pretty much made this drink up although I have seen a similar juice in the health food store labeled Antioxidant Juice.
